Enrichment Opportunities - Sixth Form

Enrichment is an important and exciting opportunity for young adults within our Sixth Form. It allows you to develop your interests and your knowledge beyond your academic studies and represents our co-curriculum offer. This helps our students become well-rounded, unique and employable and able to leave our Sixth Form as an outgoing and confident young adult.

Our Enrichment options include:

The Teaching Assistant Initiative – ideal for students wishing to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, English, MFL, nursing, business, HR, hospitality and retail.

Student Mentoring - Typically, this will involve supporting students by developing resilience, friendship and educational issues.

Junior Leadership Team – membership of this prestigious team is achieved by application and our Junior Leaders represent the school at key events.

Student Council – Sixth Form representation on the School Council is highly valued – we want all students to have a voice so that we can improve the experience for all our learners.

The Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – every year a significant number of our students successfully complete the Gold Award.

Our Enrichment opportunities also complement academic studies through the following options:
