The Warriner School Farm covers an area of 47 hectares (116 acres) and has a mixture of livestock and crop enterprises. Along with well-equipped teaching and learning facilities and highly experienced teaching staff, the farm offers the following:

  • A suckler herd of pedigree Dexter cattle
  • A flock of 70 breeding Lleyn ewes, plus our two tups, and 1 wether called Barney, who is a much-loved member of our farm! Keep an eye out in early spring for our annual lambing events…
  • A pig unit where we rear piglets from a local breeder as stores for meat production
  • A flock of laying hens which produce beautiful eggs in a range of colours, available for purchase through the school
  • A small herd of breeding goats. The goat kids are an adorable feature on the farm every spring, before being weaned and sold on in the summer
  • Two small donkeys, christened Pablo and Matilda, who provide students with the chance to learn about equine behaviour and handling
  • A small animal unit comprising rabbits, guinea pigs, corn snakes, and Dylan the bearded dragon
  • A kennel facility, where staff may board their dogs during the day. They are then exercised by the students who attend our daily lunchtime Farm Club
